U-KISS KEVIN TRIVIA / FACTS

Kevin was born in Danville, California, San Francisco. 

When asked “when are you most like a child?” Hoon pointed out that the sound of Kevin’s laugh is like a child’s.

Kevin used to be in the rotatory group Xing with Kibum. Kevin debuted on December 14 2006. Other members of Xing included Yong Junhyung of Beast and all members of DaeGukNamAh (Park Hyunchul, Lee Suhoon, Yeo Hoonmin, Lee Injoon, Jeon Jihwan). While in Xing, Kevin rapped for a song about a wooden roller coaster.

Kevin left Xing only four months before the debut of U-Kiss.

When Kevin joined U-Kiss he was the foreigner with the best Korean and he often translated for Alexander and Eli, and spoke with them in English. (As seen in this video)

For most of his professional career, Kevin has had blonde hair.

Because of his fluent English, he is often asked to sing English songs on radio shows etc. early on in his professional career (In your hands Eng Ver. , Kevin singing “One Last Cry” on radio)

Kevin’s favourite member of SNSD is Seohyun.

Kevin wears shoelifts, but without them and considering Dongho’s growth spurt, he is tied with Eli for the shortest member of the group.

Kevin is renowned to have the nicest hands in U-Kiss, characteristic for his long and slender fingers.

When asked about something that he must do without fail every day, Kevin mentioned tweeting, and AJ jokingly said that “Kevin’s girlfriend is Twitter” and Kevin admits to what AJ said. (Asian place vol 6 Dec 2011)

In the same interview, when asked what is something he can’t live without, Kevin first said he cannot live without his members. But AJ pointed out that it’s Twitter might be a more realistic answer, and Kevin got embarrassed even though he did admit that Twitter is important to him as well (but his members are more important). (Asian place vol 6 Dec 2011)

Kevin really wants to sing love songs with true emotion, but he feels he cannot do this yet since he hasn’t had his first love.

The first song Kevin performed in front of a crowd was Let It Be, by The Beatles (at his middle school graduation.)
